Watermark, GBlite and gypsum block soil suction sensors
- Price: Price on application
Soil tensiometers in common use are simply resistivity meters that measure resistivity within an ion-buffering material such as gypsum that absorbs and releases moisture. They can therefore be operated directly and most effectively by Lippmann and SchwaRTech resistivity meters. A combination of conventional electrodes and a gypsum block or GBLite (Watermark) sensor in a buried installation can be complimentary.
The first photo has both the GBLite and GBHeavy. The second is of a used GBLite and an SDI12 outputting interface box.
