Up to six standard 20AmpHr 12.8V LiFePO4 batteries fit into HERBI-USV along with survey equipment but typically only one or two are required for a long day of survey if the propulsion unit is not used. The computer is otherwise the main power consumer and if compact large capacity LiIon batteries are fitted to the computer then external battery consumption can be reduced.
