HERBI Ceescope 100 full waveform sonar

HERBI is routinely operated using the Cee Hydrosystems Ceescope 100 full waveform sonar. Data is collected at up to 20Hz so, when traversing water weed the false bed picks are easily removed with an outlier filter. Further, full waveform data can be displayed and analysed by ResImage software to characterize sludge and its thickness.

If operating with the HERBI propulsion unit, the Ceescope-Lite can be preferable, used with a CeeScope-USV long range land link. Cee Hydrosystems have marketed the more compact Ceescope-Lite for easier incorporation inside USVs such as HERBI. This is the version presented in the drawings shown.
