HERBI GNSS
- Price: Price on application
HERBI has used GNSS incorporated into Ceescope 100 for most survey. Ceescope 100 can use different internal GNSS cards or even external GNSS and integrates the GNSS with the logged sonar data stream at up to 20Hz. Rather than acquire real time kinematic corrections we tend to prefer to store full dual frequency sonar data and to conduct post processed kinematic correction using CORSNET or local base station data. This is because, when walking along a channel, tens of kilometres can be covered so transmission of base station data in real time can be difficult. We find that a uBlox F9P set up on reservoir or channel banks is suitable as a base station and can acquire AusPOS base station data during the survey in situations where the existing CORSNET is not sufficiently accurate. Of course, if no precision elevations are required with ERT and sonar data then no corrections need be applied.
