HERBI telescopic rope manager
- Price: Price on application
When two persons pull HERBI-USV along an irrigation canal by pulling ropes from each bank they encounter trees and other obstacles out in the water which get in their way. We choose to pull HERBI with ropes that float and at the end of the ropes add loops for passing over one’s shoulder. These can be thrown into the water, or with weights with floats attached, thrown back and forth across the channel for single side pulling of HERBI for short distances. The telescopic fibreglass rod with a hook at the end is used to retrieve thrown ropes from the water. For instance, when approaching a tree in the water a person will coil up and then throw the rope out past the tree and then walk past the tree and hook the rope, pulling it back up over their shoulder and keep walking almost without slowing down.
