Turbidity and Total Suspended Solids sounding

Turbidity and Total Suspended Solids sounding

  • Price: Price on application
Using an optical turbidity or total suspended solids sensor and pressure transducer on a stick or weight lowered into the water, with a fast-sampling logger with GNSS, soundings can be obtained and later plotted in curtain diagrams in 3D. If the sensors are not right at the base of the sounding stick, an offset correction is made and the sensors do not get overly fouled by thick bottom sludge. We own a Turner Cyclops 7 Turbidity sensor and recommend the Cerlic Multitracker Total Suspended Solids sensor for this type of work. These can be coupled with pressure transducers, loggers, GNSS and proximity sesnors we own to make pole mounted sounding systems.
