Spray rigs are suitable platforms for repeated tomographic imaging of entire paddocks. Tomographic images can be differenced to image changes in moisture at all depths of interest in decimetre detail although the high speed of spray rigs does compromise acquisition quality. With GPS integrated into an imaging system, operation can be fully autonomous with remote transmission of data.
