Flymesh is easily welded to the base of PVC pipes to make shallow piezometers that can be inserted a short distance under the water table (to 12m maximum) using the Auger rig. In sand aquifers, the rig can be used with a swivel for jetting casing in to greater depths. Slotted casing also can be applied.
