Soil Moisture profiling is most effectively achieved in most soils using capacitive probes in which sensors are stacked vertically over the desired depths. EnviroPro probes have an extended area of penetration into the soil around the probe, important for effectiveness in cracking soil. For vertosol - extreme cracking clay soil and where farm machinery must be driven over the site we prefer our upward looking SchwaRTech Electrical Resistivity Tomography installations with deep trenched electrodes that examine the whole soil mass regardless of cracks that always open up around capacitance probes. In this price we offer up to three EnviroPro 1.2m-long probes, a YDOC logger and one year of subscription for cellular connectivity, data storage and a website dashboard for viewing the data. Installation cost is extra. The YDOC logger is flexible and many other sensors and options can be added at little cost. For SDI-12 comms distance from logger to each probe can be up to 60m, while other options are possible.
