We now supply Victron Blue Smart chargers with our LiFePO4 batteries for two very important reasons. Numerous chargers advertised for LiFePO4 battery charging CANNOT restart the battery management systems (BMS) on these batteries after they have been drained to the point where the BMS shuts them down. The Victron charger has a mode that restarts shut down batteries rather than just giving up like most chargers do. The Victron charger also offers a blue tooth link from which energy accumulation can be monitored. For towed TEM operations this is most important for confirming that batteries are performing each day as required and for monitoring how much battery capacity is consumed in a day.
