Vescor TEMTx32 transmitter
Vescor TEMTx32 transmitter
- Price: Price on application
This Vescor (Brian O’Neill) TEM transmitter outputs up to 32 Amps and is controlled by a reference signal coming from the receiver or can operate independently. There is some digital delay (around 32 uS plus some for length of reference cable). This product should not be pushed to its limits or overloaded. Breaking of the loop during transmission should be avoided. It has a reputation of failure under load. Avalanche energy is fed back into the battery and if this happens to be a LiFePO4 battery with a BMS on it then the energy may have nowhere to go and will instead damage the transmitter.
The Vescor TEMTx32 works effectively with the Monex TerraTEM (16bit) and a bank of very high power resistors for restricting current into smaller towed loops. It may be connected directly to a 100 x 100m hand laid loop.
