These coils are compact and lightweight yet have higher self-inductance than our collapsible coils. They are the best solution for surveys involving travel through thick undergrowth and forest. They are a 350-turn spiral print on both sides of a large circuit board spaced to minimize self-inductance and to maximize cutoff frequency. Compared to a standard VESCOR RVR1 coil, this has only a single 350 turn so it has a higher cutoff frequency suitable for shallow towed TEM applications.
