The AgTEM transmitter is designed to clip onto a tailored backpack frame. The receiver can even be strapped to a plate at the top for a complete system in a backpack – requiring positioning of the touchscreen in a chest pouch on the person carrying the backpack.

The backpack also has swivel-mounts at the top for fixture to the Wallaroo transmitter or receiver loops to force relative movement to be restricted and metallic inductive coupling to stay close to constant. This designed restriction is essential for walked operations that require operators to be close to or in loops.
