A multi-meter is essential for operation of AgTEM electronics as sooner or later a cable will get damaged or a battery will be unintentionally flat. Also essential are pins (sewing pins or Arduino board connector cable type leads that can be touched to individual pins or sockets on connectors. Alligator connectors help hold such leads. It is not a matter of if, but when something will go wrong with connectors.
