Wallaby suspension

We do not use soft tyres as a primary provision of suspension for Wallaby, choosing thin large diameter tyres over small soft tyres due to better incidence angle on bumps. Instead we provide dedicated suspension that cannot suffer puncture by thorns as can soft tyres.

The older form of suspension has airbags and this works well. This form has been deprecated due to cost and complexity alone. The newer form involves elastically bending tubes with travel limiters and a force distribution cushion. This form distributes forces across the Wallaby optimally such that whole of product simplification can occur. Considerable cost reduction on the whole product results.
