The Wallaby transmitter loop is 5 turn, 4mm2 conductors, each capable of carrying 50 Amps at 50% duty cycle without overheating. It is precisely measured with catenary allowance and has load distributing suspension fixtures at appropriate distances along its length. It is fixed near front boom extremities to keep non-tensioned segments away from the receiver loop on the core where mutual inductance instability is problematic. This item is the suspended portion. There is also an additional portion integral to the Wallaby core, extending out to front boom tips and forming a mutual inductance bucking indentation in the core. The cable is terminated by a group of three 50Amp Anderson connectors to facilitate easy field maintenance and recoverable pull-apart failure when the loop catches on tree branches.
