Wallaby systems made up until 2024 had airbag suspension. This form works well but costs lots to manufacture and adds considerable weight to Wallaby because weight must be focussed into and out of the isolated airbags. In contrast, the newer, bending tube type distributes the forces across the wallaby core using the bending tubes themselves.
