Critical to the survival of Wallaby are obstacle deflectors on the base of the wheel supports, designed at an angle to case the wheel housings to glance onto and slide over obstacles such as tree stumps and large rocks hidden in long grass. One Square section of fibreglass acts as a strengthener and a second below it is for covering bolt heads so that the whole structure does not catch on bolt heads when sliding over obstacles.
