Dumbell cantilever loops

One person can operate an entire Wallaroo system suspended from a single backpack – with a three-component loop cantilevered balancing a modest transmitter loop. The same can be achieved over a quadbike or motorbike but then bigger loops can be used. The photo shows a mock-up of coils that might be useful – let us know if you have an application as this setup is cheap and easy for us to manufacture. As of January 2025 we have not had a client request a scenario requiring this configuration.

Note that with just 30mm tube acting as the cantilevering rod, these coils can develop some bounce so extra support is needed and it is not quite as practical as it may look.
