The large Wallaroo transmitter loop, along with the receiver loop centred within, and all electronics, can be carried by two persons if AgTEM electronics is adopted. The transmitter backpack position is rigidly fixed within the loop and the receiver electronics is rigidly fixed out in front of the large transmitter loop on an extension of the longitudinal boom. High performance amplification and A/D conversion generates considerable heat (almost by definition) so extruded aluminium casing is needed for heat transfer rendering this case inappropriate for locating within the large Wallaroo loop when optimized for receiving data via receiver loop centred within the transmitter loop. The computer screen is in-loop but rigidly fixed away from loop wires.

 This configuration of Wallaroo has been the most difficult for us to design wholly because positioning of metal cooling parts of electronics within the large transmitter loop is so problematic with the receiver loop also within the structure.

 A second or third receiver loop can be towed behind the transmitter loop on a separate, lightweight, skid steer trailer.

As of January 2025 this configuration has not been succesfully tested - photos are from 2022 tests when electronics was bulkier and heavier. The 2025 system has the receiver out of loop but lack of capital has prevented re-testing.
