The small 6m2 transmitter and receiver loops are readily cantilevered over an electric 2wd motorcycle for rapid shallow mapping. This configuration is super easy to mobilize, setup, and pack up. It is fast and keeps loops in fixed orientation with respect to each other and the ground in a way that labourers often fail to do if they are walking loops along.

For deeper soil mapping for recharge mapping, geotechnical survey or contaminated site remediation this package is much more capable and resolves deeper than FDEM devices.

The great advantage of the 2wd motorcycle, in addition to being easy to freight on a highway vehicle for transport to/from site, is that on tussocky and other uneven ground, the precision application of high torque at very low speed, and the balance of the bike, by the operator over rough undulating ground, means that the system and operator are not constantly rolling violently from side to side, adding noise to data, the rider must however keep balance over the obstacles which can be tiring.

The motorbike also can pull the Wallaroo large transmitter loop cart, and the skid-steer cart all of which can be packed onto a dual cab ute suitably equipped.

The UBCO 2wd electric bike is perhaps the ideal bike for this task – with front wheel power making rough ground riding, where wheels slip sideways altering balance, much easier. It has a low seat for balance using feet when wheels are on elevated obstacles and has all the racks and mounting points needed.

The Wallaroo solution for a 2wd UBCO motorcycle is not commercial ready and venture capital (perhaps tied to compensation by surveying) is sought.
